Tech Tool Evaluation

First Tech Tool Link: polleverywhere
-Three Things I Liked:
1. It is very easy and clear to make a poll.
2. You have the options to let people vote more than 1 time or only 1 time. I think it is better if they vote only 1 time because then your data will be more exact.
3. It is very good that the charts are actively updated. Like as soon as someone votes, it is updated.
-Three Things I Think That Are Drawbacks:
1. It has the option to vote through text message and I think it is a little bit dumb because I doubt that people will waste their phone salary to send a text message so they can vote for a poll.
2. It works only in the USA.
3. You only have one free trial and then you have to buy it.
-Two Ways I Can Use This Tool:
1. To gather opinions from different people about something specific like for example: what is ice cream flavor do you like the most? And then people will choose the flavor they like the best.
2. You can also see the quantity of people that have something or another thing like for example: do you have blue eyes, green eyes or brown eyes? Then each person will choose the eye color they have and you will know what is the most common color.

Second Tech Tool Link: philterit
-Three Things I Liked:
1. All the logos of all the brands will show in your email when you receive an email from each brand.
2. It's free.
3. You can easily install it in your computer.
-Three Things I Think That Are Drawbacks:
1. You have to download it so it will take up space in your computer.
2. When you install it, you have to follow directions very carefully because if you do something wrong, it won't work.
3. You can't use it in smartphones.
-Two Ways I Can Use This Tool:
1. Organizing your mail visually.
2. Organizing your mail by brands.

Present.me

present.me
You first create an account and it is free for the first 3 months of use. This site is kind of like a blog. As it says in its name, the site helps you present yourself to other users. You can share your interests, what you are thinking, a school project, a personal opinion, etc. You can also search a topic and learn about other people's information they want to share. Everything is online so you don't have to download anything to your computer.

To use this site, you have to click on create first. There are many options to show your topic however you want. You can record a video of yourself doing what you would like to share in this site. You can also upload a video you had previously made. Another thing you can do is upload or record audio. You can edit your work very easily also in the site. If you don't want to include any audio or videos, you can upload a previously made power point or other documents to show your presentation in slides with texts and pictures. You can also put both. If you choose to put both, the screen will be split in two parts. One will be you talking in a video and the other one will be a slide. The videos, as well as the slides, can change to another one whenever you want to.

When you share your presentation you can configure its settings. If you want it to be private it will be so not everything you publish is public. You can also take track of the views each presentation have nd all the comments too.

An example of a slide and a video at the same time is this:
The girl is talking while she shows a text beside her.
