Goals:
- How do you merge two videos together and play them at the
same time.
- How do you make sound effects.
- How to put effects (visual).
Merge Videos:
"Combining two videos side-by-side is also called a
split-screen effect because it separates the single screen into two smaller
screens with two separate videos beside each other. You can separate them
equally from the middle of the screen or have one video more dominant than the
other. You can position and crop them in whatever way you want as long as they
fit the rectangular shape of the original screen. Often times, the videos have
black backgrounds for spaces not covered by either of the two videos."
"I just happened to think of a work around you might
try.
Rather than side by side, what if you used picture in
picture and place your first video over black and then export it. Now
re-import what you just exported and place your 2nd movie by doing another
picture in picture effect. Now export"
Visual Effects:
"Visual effects add an interesting element to almost
any home movie. These effects lend an air of sophistication and polish to what
might otherwise be a relatively boring event. Many of the best visual effects
are quite simple and inexpensive."
How to make effects and put them in the video.
What I learned?
I learned that videos don't have to be simple. They should
have special effects on them. I learned that you can merge two videos and it is
called a split-screen effect. You can do this in many ways. You can also put
sound and visual effects to make the video more dramatic.
Next Class...
I want to learn next class to change the velocity of the
video.
